The Business Corporations Act (Alberta) is the law covering provincially incorporated for-profit companies in Alberta; the regulation under the Act can be found here. Nonprofits can be established under either the Companies Act (regulation here) or the Societies Act (regulation here), and co-ops can be established under the Co-Operatives Act (regulation here).
